Pizza is comfort food, as it should be. There are plenty of choices around the Syosset area and each has its own merit. But when I first moved here, a local gifted a certificate to use as a way to get acclimated with the new surroundings - and Phil's does not disappoint! Plenty of parking, Lidl for convenient food shopping after, and Tesla superchargers - what more do you need? Oh, and good pizza with a nice ambiance (also plenty of TVs for your sports fan - bonus). Service has been mixed the several times I've been there (both dining in and taking out), which would explain the four stars. The food, however, will be worth your while...
It's absolutely the best freshest crispiest pizza in the neighborhood Freshly made callings, sandwiches, heros, macaroni A must try! Don't blink as you'll pass the lot and miss a great lunch or dinner Ample parking Clean affordable well, maybe not, but $7,50 a specialty slice, whereas others give you a Suloda and slice for same.. maybe give us a lunch special, lol
BALSAMIC CHICKEN PIZZA IS A MUST, but a few of the other food items on their menu I've tried aren't that memorable. My friend did a small pizza tour on Long Island and introduced me to their balsamic chicken pizza. I don't even like the taste of balsamic vinegar and I was obsessed with it. I'm not very close to this pizzeria so I've only had it a handful of times, but the taste of the pizza hasn't changed at all over the past few years, still as good as ever! The flavor of the balsamic dressing with the chicken and tomatoes is strong, but pairs well with lighter cheese. There's also a lot of textures at play that make it an extra enjoyable experience. *Just be careful not to let the pizza oils/juices drip out of the box if you do takeout.
